Nord - Moorschaf - 1 skein
Nord Moorschaf is an undyed (natural cream) 2 ply, fingering weight base from Germany’s Raincloud & Sage. Made from a blend of wool – 70% from Merino and 30% from Ostfriesisches Milchschaf breeds – Nord is perfect for sweaters, hats, or mittens! Nord was grown in North Germany, washed in Belgium, spun in South Germany, and dyed in Central Germany. Raincloud & Sage’s Nord is sustainably made, meaning it is an eco-friendly, biodegradable (non-superwash and nylon-free) wool yarn, produced as locally as possible and with respect for all animals and humans involved.

About Raincloud & Sage: Raincloud & Sage aims to create yarn with a story. Ruth and her team are involved in every step of the process: from sourcing and purchasing from shepherds, to delivering their wool to the small family-run woolen spinning mill they work with, to creating botanical dyes from plants and natural extracts. Raincloud & Sage wants its yarn to end up in the hands of knitters who love good wool and making warm items with their own two hands.
